A Sizzlin' Legacy: The Story of Griddles, Grates & Grills
In 1966, Robert “Bob” Curry fired up his first business, Temple Aluminum and Bronze—later known as Permocast. Just three years later, he took his entrepreneurial spirit to the backyard and launched Decor House, crafting BBQ and outdoor accessories that brought the heat (literally).
Fast-forward to today, and two of the original Decor House products—the OG Griddle and The Original Gripper—are still in action, made with the very same molds Bob started with. Talk about a legacy that lasts!
Now known as Griddles, Grates & Grills, the business is still cooking strong under the Curry family—now in its second and third generation. Same passion. Same grit. Just a lot more grill marks.
